Carranza Puppets is a selected member of the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Texas Touring Roster.
The Texas Commission on the Arts provides GRANTS which means that financial assistance is available for 30-50% of the performance fees (including travel) for you to bring Carranza Puppets to your school!
You may apply for a grant if you are a:
* Nonprofit organization
* Government agency
The process is simple. First, to apply for a grant, go to www.arts.state.tx.us or call 800-252-9415 and ask for a Program Staff member. Access the grant application by signing up for a user name and password. The application process is very easy, and should take less than 15 minutes to apply! Please be aware that there are deadlines to apply for a particular time period (see below).
Aug. 1 – for programs between Sept. 1 – Dec. 14
Nov. 1 – for programs between Dec. 15 – March 14
Feb. 1 – for programs between March 15 – June 14
May 1 – for programs between June 15 – Aug. 31
